Yeah. Are there any lights for it? I wanna get it with the real vibe.

Sure. I'll go set them up.

[Jason walks over the right side of the stage to adjust the lights. It's a small area since it's mainly for karaoke and smaller acts after all. But at least it's in good shape.]

[Yeah, that's good. Mark has to work through a few things, changing his settings, before finally taking his pictures.]

You've got good lights here. Enough to accent without hurting eyes. Good choice.

Thanks. I kinda had to just eyeball it. It's been a long time since I had to message with stage lights.

You did stage work in the past?

Nothing professional. Just volunteered to be stage crew back when I was in middle school.

I wish I could have done that in high school.

[But nah, he couldn't get time for that.]

It was fun. Plus I kinda like theater.

[Unfortunately, his Robin activities stopped him from attending more often]

[That's a reasonable thing to stop him, even if Mark doesn't know it.]

There's a lot that is really cool about the stage, so I get it.

Yeah. Plus, it's interesting how much work it takes to run a production. Not just actors and a director, you know?

It's not. The stage crew, the musicians, the sound people, prop people... It's all awesome!

[Mark loved the details with them too. The little things brought by all of that.]

Yeah, it is. It's really satisfying to see a story you might've read come alive. Or at least that's what a good production should do.

It should. And the story of a production matters too.

Just like this place has a story, a history, and that matters and colors it too.

An old building, with good bones. Maybe forgotten at some point. Then found by someone who had a specific desire, and who found those old bones were strong. You brought beauty to it, gave it purpose.
