Sure thing. Seems like you've been really enjoying yourself here. We also got the second floor if you wanna take a look.

You've got a great place. And like I said, places are more my joy when it comes to photograph than, say, weddings. And this place has some good design to it.

[Jason bows his head slightly and rubs the back of his neck, pretending to be humbled]

Thanks. First time I've done this, you know? I picked out a lot of the stuff and the design.

Well, it’s really nicely done. I’m hoping you do well. Let’s get the next area. You said second floor? We’ll need to move things up the stairs.

[Jason nods and carefully helps pick up the light stands]

You might get a couple of decent shots up there. It's where the stage and some bar games are.

What sorts of bar games? We talking things like pinball? Would probably not go with the sounds from the stage though I guess.

A couple of pinball machines and a Mortal Kombat cabinet. We got pool tables too.

[Jason leads up the stairs]

[The comment comes at about the right time, because Mark does stumble up the stairs. Good thing the cameras are on straps around his neck to keep it from falling in a bad way. But he catches his balance.]

I swear I’m normally coordinated. Sorry. I mean, I can even juggle.

Well your weight distribution is different here than from juggling I imagine.

[He’s normally better at this stuff, he swears.]

You’re not wrong. But I got it.

[See, he’s making it to the top of the steps.]

And this is an area I don’t think I’d personally come, because the noise of pool balls is just jarring. but I’m expecting you’re going to get attention here. You got security to deal with people who might try and pool shark it?

Yeah. I got good security so I'm not too worried about that.

[Cass can kick anyone's ass and the people who would pool shark are precisely the kind of customers he wants to lure in.

Just like the first floor, the second floor's walls are visibly brick. Putting aside the obvious modern additions like the arcade machines, there's still a speakeasy vibe to the area. There are also plush lounges for people to sit and enjoy the shows or to take a break between games.]

You know, this place feels like one of those speakeasies you could get tours of in Boston. Like, really has that vibe. I’m guessing you’re deliberately building that up. It’s a good choice here in Central. People like that.

You got it in one. That's basically the vibe I'm trying to go for here. It's a little bit of home too. Parts of the city I'm from still got this decor.

[Really? That’s pretty interesting. Bringing home here.]

Wish I could do that here. But where am I going to get a wonderful donut shop to get me some real Boston creams, you know?

[Jason chuckles as he helps set up the lights again]

Maybe you could find something close at some hole-in-the-wall place before it gets "discovered" and the neighborhood gets gentrified.

[What a good man, setting them up. But he’s not going to comment again.]

Ew. I mean, yes, Central could use some cleaning up, but let’s not get all gentrification here. That’s unkind to the locals.

You know it might happen. Not that I like it either.

[Mark sighs and man, that’s a downer to even consider.]

Well, at least we can hope together.

[He lines up for a shot of the pool tables, then shakes his head.]

Too neat. Any chance you could do a break for me? Get a nice scatter? Also, has anyone ever told you you’re a good conversationalist?

[Huh... Jason grabs a cue and starts to line up his shot]

Not usually but I've heard that comment not too long ago. Guess I'm becoming more personable.

Well, you’ve seemed personable to me. Seriously, I haven’t had this much fun talking to someone since this one party I went to, and that was probably a bit less reasonable because it was this party thrown by a trickster god who decided to get some laughs out of it I guess.

[Jason pauses and looks back up at Mark]

Yeah. I guess everyone heard about that party. It was pretty cool. Did you get to go?

[There were a lot of people so maybe its a coincidence...?]

Yeah, I did. It was mostly fun. Got to dress up too.

[Totally a coincidence that he meets someone who was at that party and had a sister he called Joanie and who just complimented Jason’s listening. Yep. Totally]

Same. My friend pulled me along to it. It was fun, until the awkwardness.
